with exclusive access to Poso Creek Canyon
The San Miguel Cabin is nestled in high mountain ponderosa pines, aspen groves and granite boulders. The cabin is a tidy and efficient 480 square foot (12 x 40) elevated framed building with steel roof. It is insulated and features a living area and a separate bunk room. The living area has a top-of-the-line propane stove, utility sink with solar-powered water pump, dining table, and shelving throughout for storage. The bunk room sleeps up to eight with comfortable mattresses and has storage shelves. The cabin also features propane wall heaters and lighting as well as solar lighting and water pump.​​

Poso Creek Canyon

San Miguel has an exclusive private trail that decends from the cabin to Poso Creek Canyon, a seasonal creek that runs through the property. Poso Creek, along with neighboring canyons within hiking distance, have scarce natural springs with lush meadows that offer a precious water to wildlife year round.​​


Stunning Views
The property has stunning views both of Poso Creek Canyon (to the west) as well as views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains (to the east) from the highest point on the property. There are multiple incredible locations for building future cabins, including a location that has a view of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range across San Luis Valley.
Recreational Zip Line
The cabin also features a 300-foot zipline with a unique experience of flying between massive ponderosa pine trees and over granite boulders. Zip line equipment including safety equipment is included with the property.
